Hebei Hualun Cable Co., Ltd. is one of the most reliable manufacturers and suppliers of three cores cables to bs 6622 in China. If you're going to wholesale durable three cores cables to bs 6622 made in China, welcome to get quotation from our factory. All customized products are with high quality and competitive price.

Three Cores Cables to BS 6622 have a plain annealed copper or aluminium conductor complying with IEC 60228/BS 6360. Copper conductors shall be stranded (class 2) and aluminium conductors shall be either solid or stranded (class 2). Insulation is cross-linked polyethylene compound XLPE or EPR. For cables with a collective metallic layer or cables with a metallic layer over each individual core with additional collective metallic layers, semi-conducting inner covering and fillers shall be applied over the laid up cores. The inner covering is made of non hygroscopic material, except if the cable is to be made longitudinally watertight. The inner covering shall be extruded or lapped. They are designed for distribution of electrical power with nominal voltage 3.6/6.6KV to 19/33KV and frequency 50Hz. They are suitable for installation mostly in power supply stations, indoors and in cable ducts, outdoors, underground and in water, as well as on cable trays for industries, switchboards and power stations.

Product Q&A

Q: In what cases must the inner covering and fillers of Three Cores Cables to BS 6622 use non-hygroscopic material?

A: For cables with a collective metallic layer, or cables with a metallic layer over each individual core with additional collective metallic layers, the inner covering and fillers shall be made of non-hygroscopic material. If the cable is required to be longitudinally watertight, the inner covering shall also have water-blocking properties, as determined by design.

Q: What are the characteristics of the insulation of this cable under long-term high-temperature operation?

A: XLPE insulation has a long-term allowable working temperature of 90°C and low dielectric loss at high temperatures. EPR insulation has better flexibility and is suitable for installation routes requiring some bending. Both can be selected according to project requirements.

Q: How is the ampacity corrected when multiple cables of this type are laid in parallel in a cable trench?

A: When multiple cables are laid in parallel, there is a mutual heating effect between cables. The ampacity shall be multiplied by correction factors based on the number of parallel cables and the arrangement, and the ampacity data for a single cable cannot be directly applied. If necessary, maintain spacing or take ventilation measures as designed.
